Your contribution helps sustain the studio, nurture artists, expand access to contemporary dance and develop the performances, films and public programmes that bring South African arts to audiences locally and internationally.

Not a donation.
Fuel for a process.
The Institute of Curiosity is where Darkroom Contemporary develops new work, nurtures its artistic community and creates opportunities for emerging artists. Public funding takes us part of the way. The rest comes from people who believe in the value of curiosity, creativity and artistic risk.
Every contribution goes directly into the process: studio time, artist fees, creative development, community access and the conditions that allow new works to emerge. Support here is not simply a contribution to an organisation. It is an investment in a living ecosystem of artists, ideas and possibilities.
Darkroom Contemporary is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (089-552 NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930 043 891). Receipts are issued by email within five working days.
